OUR VINEYARDS
The Frasca Winery consists of 22 hectares of vineyards, embracing the municipalities of Nizza Monferrato, Agliano Terme and Moasca. Our vineyards have been selected with patience to enhance the different characteristics of our territory. We manage them with care and passion, to respect the Earth and Man.
LA GUARAGNA
Municipality: Nizza Monferrato
Vineyard size : 10 hectares
Altitude: 170 – 250 m a.s.l.
Soil: clayey soils, with good presence of limestone. In some spots there is a deep layer of sand – giving acidity and minerality to the wine.
Variety grown: Barbera, Moscato, Riesling, Arneis.
AGLIANO TERME
Municipality: Agliano Terme
Vineyard size : 4 hectares
Altitude: 180 – 230 m a.s.l.
Soil: clayey soils rich in minerals – giving complexity and longevity to the wines.
Variety grown: Barbera and Grignolino
MOASCA
Municipality: Moasca
Vineyard size : 6 hectares
Altitude: 180 – 220 m a.s.l.
Soil: clayey soils, with presence of magnesium – giving body and fruity flavours to the wines.
Variety grown: Barbera and Freisa
ANNUNZIATA
Municipality: Nizza Monferrato
Vineyard size : 2 hectares
Altitude: 160 – 190 m a.s.l.
Soil: calcareous-clayey soils – giving structure to wines.
Variety grown: Barbera
